日本ツアーとは別に急遽発表されたマイケルモンロー(元ハノイロックス)のサイン会に行ってきました。
本当に急に発表されたのでマイケルモンローのファンへの想いが伝わる出来事となりました。
告知内容としては
MICHAEL MONROE（マイケル・モンロー） 来日を記念し、メンバーたっての希望でサイン会が急遽決定！最新作をビクターオンラインストアでご購入の方（先着）が対象です！
とのことで、サイン会へ参加するには、オンラインストアでマイケルモンローの新作アルバムとなるI live too fast to die young(2022)の購入が必要。抽選ではなく、先着順ですので急いで買わないといけませんでした。
私もすぐにCDを購入。通常盤はあっという間に売り切れ、デラックス盤も1日ほどで完売となりました。

当日はサイン会の会場へ到着後、並ぶ順番は特に決まっていなかったので割と後ろの方で待機し、サインをもらいました。
去年11月にモトリー・クルーが日本公演をして話題になりましたが、マイケルモンローもモトリー・クルーのフィンランド公演に行き、モトリー・クルーのヴォーカルヴィンスニールと初対面、その後手紙を彼に宛てて送ったとインタビューに答えていたので、マイケルモンローにサインをもらうときはその出来事が頭に浮かびました。
長生きすると今まで叶わなかったことまで叶うのだなと私も勉強しました。

On the day of the signing session, upon arriving at the venue, since there wasn’t any particular order to line up, I waited towards the back and got the autograph.
Last November, there was a lot of talk about Mötley Crüe’s Japan tour, but Michael Monroe also attended Mötley Crüe’s performance in Finland. He mentioned in an interview that he met Mötley Crüe’s vocalist Vince Neil for the first time and later sent him a letter. So, when I got Michael Monroe’s autograph, that incident came to mind.I learned that living a long life can make even previously unattainable things possible.
